I've been photographing weddings for almost twenty years and have learned that the key thing is not only producing images of the highest quality, but putting people at ease whilst doing so. Many people aren't especially comfortable being photographed and certainly don't want to spend hours posing so my aim is to keep the photography as relaxed, informal and unobtrusive as possible.
On the day itself, some couples want me there from first thing, photographing the preparations throughout the morning and going right through to the party in the evening and the last dance. Others just want me to cover a few hours during the middle of the day to take in the ceremony and a few formal shots. It's entirely up to you.
I will provide the following:
• At least 200 9"x6" prints from your wedding, usually a mixture of B&W and colour.
• High resolution images on CD so you can make copies, enlargements and reprints whenever you like.
• Your wedding photos on a password protected web gallery for family and friends to view online.
The prices start from £975* for the first 4 hours and then £175 for each additional hour.
* A 'Disc and Web' package (with no prints included) is available. This package starts from £875 for the first 4 hours and then £175 for each additional hour. Clients are able to produce their own prints from the Hi-Res disc supplied.
I don't provide an album - there is such a range of albums available I find many couples prefer to choose their own. Digital wedding albums, created easily online, are now very popular as well. Blurb.com in particular is very well regarded and their software makes the whole process very straightforward.
I normally shoot any formal shots in colour and then the informal pics in B&W but we can have a chat about how you want me to do things. I'll take any formal photos you want (within reason - I don't do bride under weeping willow with finger on chin surrounded by adoring bridesmaids nor will I ask anybody to chase anybody else around a tree!) and the rest of the time I'll be moving around taking informal photos.
Let me know if you'd like to meet up for a chat to go through things in greater detail.
I love shooting weddings but through the week I'm busy on set photographing tv shows. Take a look here:
